Holds a degree in Economics from NOVA School of Business & Economics in Lisbon.

Professional Experience

Thanks to her extensive professional career in various Portuguese entities, she possesses broad knowledge of the Portuguese financial system, in addition to a proven track record in executive roles.

Since 1997, she was linked to Santander Totta, where she held various positions of responsibility in key business-related areas such as international, transactional banking, SMEs and corporations, or retail, among others, from which she promoted strategic projects for the bank.

Between 2021 and 2024, she was responsible for ESG Europe at Banco Santander. She also held the position of chairwoman of the board of directors of Fundação Santander Portugal.

Furthermore, she was part of the executive committee of Santander Totta and the boards of directors of Santander Totta, Mapfre Santander Portugal, Aegon Santander Portugal, Santander Totta Seguros, and Universia Portugal.

In June 2025, she was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of ABANCA Corporación Bancaria, S.A.
