Holds a degree in Economics from NOVA School of Business & Economics in Lisbon.

Professional Experience

Throughout her extensive professional career in various Portuguese entities, she has acquired in-depth knowledge of the Portuguese financial system, in addition to a proven track record in executive roles.

Since 1997, she was associated with Santander Totta, where she held various positions of responsibility in key areas related to international business, transactional banking, SMEs, corporations, and retail, among others, from which she spearheaded strategic projects for the bank.

Between 2021 and 2024, she was the Head of ESG for Europe at Banco Santander. She also held the position of Chair of the Board of Directors of the Fundação Santander Portugal.

Furthermore, she was a member of the executive committee of Santander Totta and of the boards of directors of Santander Totta, Mapfre Santander Portugal, Aegon Santander Portugal, Santander Totta Seguros, and Universia Portugal.

In June 2025, she was appointed director of the Board of Directors of ABANCA Corporación Bancaria, S.A.
