Born in Porto in 1969. She holds a Degree in Business Management from the University of Porto (School of Economics) and an MBA in Finance from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass Business School) in London. Furthermore, she has completed the International Directors Program (IDP-C) at INSEAD and the Women on Boards program at Harvard Business School.
Professional background
She began her career in 1994 in London as an investment banking analyst at Nomura. Between 1996 and 2010, she worked at Citigroup in London, New York, Madrid, and Lisbon, where she rose to the position of Director of Investment Banking. From 2010 to 2018, she developed her professional career at Barclays, holding the position of Director of Corporate Finance and Investment Banking, and from 2015 to 2018, serving as Managing Director of Investment Banking in Lisbon.
In July 2019, she was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of ABANCA Corporación Bancaria, S.A., and in July 2024, she was appointed as an Independent Director of the Board of Directors at Banco Bic Português, S.A. (Eurobic), currently ABANCA Portugal, S.A.
