She was born in Lisbon, in 1969. Degree in business management by the Economics University of Oporto and MBA from the CASS Business School,in London. Also, she has finished the International Directors Program - C of INSEAD and the program Women on Boards from Harvard Business School.

Professional background

She began her professional career in 1994 in London as an investment banking analyst at Nomura. Between 1996 and 2010, she worked at Citigroup in London, New York, Madrid and Lisbon, where she became head of investment banking. From 2010 to 2018, she has developed her professional career in Barclays, occupying the position of head of corporate finance and investment banking, and from 2015 to 2018, as general manager of investment banking in London.

In July 2019, she was appointed member of the Board of Directors of ABANCA Corporación Bancaria, S.A.
