We have recently reformulated our strategy to adapt it to the current context and have set new goals aligned with the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreements. The Action Plan for Responsible and Sustainable Banking 2021-2024 includes the goals that we have set and the established roadmap in order to be a relevant actor in the field of sustainability; support sustainable economic activity by integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects into the management, business and risk model, and accompany our clients in the transition towards sustainability.

The actions planned to promote an economic and social model that respect the environment are structured around three main lines of ESG action:

  • Environmental: includes the measures to face the climatic emergency.
  • Socioeconomic: includes actions to promote recovery and transformation towards sustainable development.
  • Good governance: actions to promote a management model focused on the needs of stakeholders and with special attention to new risks.
